Kenny the Clown is a magician and balloon twister who first began his work all the way in the 2000’s when he was still in high school.

At the time, he was a camp counselor at Camp Eagle Feather and they were having a circus-themed spirit day. He volunteered to clown around with the kids, and at the end of the day he was approached by a few parents who asked him if he could come to their kids’ parties. He wasn’t sure what to say… but he agreed!

Eventually, Kenny graduated from CCSU with his degree in art education, and began teaching. But there was just something about clowning he loved, and soon he began learning balloon twisting, magic tricks, face painting… he just couldn’t get enough!

After several years of entertaining on his own, he found out that a college friend had started face painting. So he went out to lunch with Marissa and began to brainstorm. Within a few months, Kaleidoscope was born in 2013!

Kenny and Marissa teamed up with Jess and together, Kaleidoscope (and their 30+ artists) have done thousands in the past decade.

Kenny and the Kaleido-Crew continue their education attending yearly in-person face painting, balloon twisting, clown, and magician conventions, as well as online seminars and workshops.
